In the artwork Perpetuum Mobile, I used wristwatched and
pocket watches that are up to 150 years old. Each of my artworks let you feel the spirit of bygone times. Some of the watch parts have antique engravings. A specialist often needed several
days to turn a special movement into an unmistakable masterpiece. On some of the watch parts you can find the original serial number. For example, the large striped plate in the middle of the
left side is from the American Waltham Watch Company and was manufactured 1882. In the middle right, a clock face rotates continuously and a Bitcoin appears. It shows the triumphal
march of this cryptocurrency, which advance unstoppable like a perpetuum mobile.
This is an image that only exist digitally. For my digital artworks
I use the most special watch parts that I have collected over the years.
